
Insurance and Confidentiality
Payment is due at the time of the session. Your insurance claim will be filed, but you are responsible for deductibles, co-insurance, and co-payments. You will be billed for a session that you cancel with less that 48 hours notice.

Services may also be fully or partially covered if you have out-of-network coverage with another insurance company. This means that you would be responsible for the fee at the beginning of each session and then you would submit a receipt given to you by CT Healing Center to the insurance company for reimbursement. Issues discussed in therapy are generally legally protected as both confidential and "privileged". There are limits to the privilege of confidentiality. Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person or a disabled person. When your psychiatrist or therapist believes you are in danger of harming yourself or another person, or you are unable to care for yourself.
